ALPS Maintaineering Services, Inc. has been in business since 1996, a family-owned corporation focused on engineering, energy conservation, and rotating machine reliability. We back hands-on workmanship with original equipment manufacturer partnerships, EASA (USA) membership, and a heavy investment in high-technology diagnostic instruments.

Founded in 1996, ALPS MSI began with a vision to deliver innovative solutions and set new standards of excellence in its industry. What started as a small initiative has grown into a dynamic organization, recognized for its commitment to quality, innovation, and collaboration.

Foundation and initial focus

Established as a family business, focused on sales and marketing of laser alignment products. Laid the groundwork in alignment and measurement solutions.

First contract

First major contract

Secured a condition monitoring contract in the packaging and semiconductor sectors, marking entry into industrial condition monitoring and reliability.

2003

Expanding

Expanding horizons

Took on a distributorship for advanced vibration analyzers, entering the condition monitoring sector and broadening support for equipment reliability.

2006

New tooling

Investment in advanced technology

Acquired AC design verification software, an automated coil former for motor repairs, a digital motor tester, professional bearing tools, and a balancing machine.

2018

Signature analysis

Diversification into electrical signature analysis

Secured distributorship of Artesis technology, adding sensorless diagnostics and electrical signature analysis for rotating equipment.

2022

ABB partner

Major contract and channel partnership

Won a motor repair contract with a power producer and became an ABB Philippines channel partner for synchronous reluctance and AC motors, including authorized ABB motor repair. Supplied high-efficiency motors to a plastics manufacturer with savings of over 75% per unit.

Growth

Continued growth and new partnerships

Added a lubrication-solutions distributorship and secured a condition monitoring and electrical maintenance contract with a coal-fired power facility, establishing ALPS MSI as a key player in energy and maintenance.

Some machines are too remote, too hot, or too awkward to instrument. Artesis reads the motor’s own voltage and current from the control room, no sensors on the machine, and flags mechanical, electrical, and process faults up to six months before failure.
