Overview
Positive displacement pumps for the media that wrecks ordinary pumps
ALPS MSI is a Netzsch Authorized Partner covering NEMO progressing cavity pumps, TORNADO rotary lobe pumps, and PERIPRO peristaltic pumps, with genuine spare parts and repair service in the Philippines.
A pump that keeps failing is usually not a maintenance problem. It is a selection problem, because the pump was picked on flow and head without enough weight on what it is actually moving. All three of these ranges are valveless positive displacement designs, so abrasive slurries, stringy solids, high viscosity product, and shear sensitive media move through without being compressed or chopped. Get the match right and the repair schedule stops repeating.

NEMO progressing cavity
A rotor turning inside an elastomer stator carries product along in a cavity that never changes shape. Nothing is compressed and nothing is chopped, so the NEMO moves thin fluids, thick pastes, stringy material, and abrasive slurries with a steady, low pulsation flow.
This is the pump for the duties that eat other pumps. Because the rotor and stator are the wear pair, you restore performance by changing those parts rather than the whole machine, and the geometry can be matched to the media instead of forcing one design onto every job.
Key features
- Valveless rotor and stator design, with a cavity that holds its shape
- Low pulsation and low shear, so delicate product stays intact
- Handles stringy, viscous, and abrasive media without clogging
- Rotor and stator geometries matched to the fluid, not the catalogue
- Genuine spare parts and local repair service

TORNADO rotary lobe
Two synchronised contra rotating lobes carry product from inlet to outlet with no valves in the path. The TORNADO is self priming and reversible, and it packs high flow into a small footprint, which matters when the pump has to fit where the last one sat.
Its real advantage is service time. Full Service In Place means the wetted parts come out from the front without disconnecting pipework or pulling the drive, so an overhaul that used to mean breaking the line becomes a job you can finish inside a shift.
Key features
- Two synchronised contra rotating lobes, valve free
- Self priming and reversible
- Full Service In Place: wetted parts accessed without touching pipework or drive
- High flow from a compact, high power density design
- Genuine spare parts and local repair service

PERIPRO peristaltic
The PERIPRO moves product by squeezing an elastic hose, so the hose is the only wear part and the only thing that touches the fluid. No seals, no valves, and nothing metallic in the flow path for an aggressive medium to attack.
That makes the maintenance story simple. When the hose is spent you change the hose, not the pump. It is self priming with strong dry suction and takes up to 70 percent solids, which is why it holds up on the abrasive slurries and pastes that chew through conventional designs.
Key features
- Hose deformation pumping, with the hose as the only wear part
- Seal free and valve free, so nothing else contacts the product
- Self priming with strong dry suction and dry run tolerance
- Linear delivery, which suits accurate dosing
- Industrial, chemical, food, and tube pump versions available

ALPS is a Netzsch Authorized Partner
To be clear on scope: ALPS MSI supplies NEMO, TORNADO, and PERIPRO pumps together with genuine Netzsch spare parts, and repairs them in our own shop or on your site. We size the pump against the duty and the media, and we coordinate the reinstall with laser alignment.
What we do not do is guess. If the media, the solids content, or the duty cycle is not clear, we ask before we quote, because the wrong pump for the fluid is a maintenance bill that repeats every year rather than a one-off mistake.

FAQs
Yes. ALPS MSI is a Netzsch Authorized Partner for NEMO progressing cavity pumps, TORNADO rotary lobe pumps, and PERIPRO peristaltic pumps. That covers supply, genuine spare parts, and repair service here in the Philippines, so you are not waiting on a shipment from overseas every time a pump needs attention.
It depends on what the pump is moving. NEMO handles stringy, viscous, and abrasive product with solids up to 150 mm. TORNADO takes solids up to 70 mm at much higher flow, from 1 to 1,400 m³/h. PERIPRO suits abrasive slurries with up to 70 percent solids, where the hose is the only part touching the product. Tell us the media, the solids content, and the duty cycle, and we will size it.
Usually yes, and it is often worth doing when the existing pump keeps failing on the same parts. We look at the duty first rather than matching the old pump like for like, because a pump that fails repeatedly is normally the wrong type for the media, not a maintenance problem. We check flow, head, media, and the space you have, then quote the right unit.
Full Service In Place is the TORNADO maintenance design. Every wetted part can be reached from the front of the pump without disconnecting the pipework or pulling the drive. In practice that turns an overhaul from a job that means breaking the line into one your team can finish inside a shift, which is where most of the real cost of a pump repair sits.
Yes. We repair pumps in our own shop and on your site, using genuine Netzsch spares. The reinstall is part of the job: we bring the machine back inside laser alignment tolerance before it runs again. A pump can be rebuilt perfectly and then wrecked by a careless reinstall, so alignment is not treated as an afterthought. See Mechanical Engineering for the full scope.
A copy part that misses on material, tolerance, or fit wears faster and takes the parts around it with it. The saving on the part gets spent several times over in the repeat repair and the extra downtime, and you are back on the bench sooner than the original schedule. Genuine spares, matched to the pump, are what let a repair actually hold.
Yes, and it is the cheapest way to stop pump failures being surprises. The same methods that watch motors watch pumps: vibration for bearings and balance, oil analysis for what is happening inside a gearbox, and infrared for heat. A monitored pump gives you the same early warning, so the work moves from breakdown to scheduled. See Reliability Engineering Services.
