Monitor motors without a sensor on the machine

Artesis Predictive - Sensorless

Overview

Read the motor's electrical signature, not a sensor on the shaft

Most condition monitoring needs a sensor on the machine. Artesis does not. It reads the electrical signature, the voltage and current at the motor control centre, and uses that to assess the whole drivetrain, from the motor to the load it turns.

Because there is nothing to mount on the equipment, it suits machines that are inaccessible, in hazardous areas, or simply too many to instrument one by one. It is a fast, low cost way to put eyes on assets you cannot easily reach.

FAQs

What does sensorless mean?

Artesis reads voltage and current from the motor control centre instead of mounting sensors on the machine. There is nothing to install on the equipment, which suits inaccessible or hazardous assets.

How early can it detect a fault?

The e-MCM can detect mechanical, electrical, and process related faults up to six months before they cause disruption.

What faults can it find?

Electrical, mechanical, and operational faults across motors and the equipment they drive, with guidance on corrective action and the effect of faults on energy efficiency.
