Manufacturer specs on Artesis. Datasheet and brochure available on request.
The e-MCM watches asset health without a single sensor on the machine. It reads the electrical signature, the voltage and current at the motor control centre, and assesses the whole drivetrain from the motor to the load.
A patented True Machine Learning algorithm, backed by a model base of more than ten million fault signatures, runs continuous real time analysis and surfaces problems early.
Key features
- Patented True Machine Learning algorithm
- Model base of more than ten million fault signatures
- Real time analysis of voltage and current
- Detects mechanical, electrical, and process faults up to six months ahead
- Sensorless, with nothing mounted on the machine
- Ideal machinery: Motor-driven pumps, fans, blowers, compressors, and conveyors, and in particular machines you cannot instrument easily or cannot reach safely once the plant is running.
Where it sits in the Artesis lineup
Faults detected up to six months early, with nothing mounted on the machine.
Backed by ALPS ISO 18436 certified analystsCommon questions
What does sensorless mean on the e-MCM?
It means nothing is mounted on the machine. The e-MCM reads the voltage and current already present at the motor control centre and works out asset health from that electrical signature, so there are no accelerometers to fit, no cabling runs out to the equipment, and no sensors on the machine to maintain.
Does it only watch the motor, or the driven equipment too?
The whole drivetrain. Because the electrical signature carries the load the motor is working against, the assessment runs from the motor through the coupling and gearbox to the driven equipment itself, which is where a sensor-based system would need separate measurement points.
How early can it flag a developing fault?
Up to six months before the fault causes disruption. That window is what turns an unplanned breakdown into a planned outage you schedule around production.
What kinds of faults does it detect?
Mechanical, electrical, and process faults. The system reports the condition of the drivetrain rather than a single failure mode, so it picks up developing problems on the motor and on what the motor is driving.
How does it decide something is wrong?
A patented True Machine Learning algorithm runs real time analysis on the voltage and current, comparing what it sees against a model base of more than ten million fault signatures. It learns the normal behaviour of your specific machine rather than scoring it against a generic threshold.
Can ALPS MSI install and support the e-MCM in the Philippines?
Yes. ALPS MSI supplies the e-MCM, installs it at the motor control centre, configures it for your machines, and backs it with ISO 18436 certified analysts, so the diagnosis is read by people who work on rotating equipment every week.
